PRIVACY POLICY

Voyageur Resto 2016 (“Voyageur,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses Voyageur VOS Integration to provide customer service through the Voyageur Resto 2016 Facebook Page and Messenger.

MESSENGER PROCESSING

Customers choose to initiate conversations with Voyageur through Facebook Messenger. Meta delivers those messages to Voyageur’s secured webhook. Voyageur VOS processes the customer’s message against verified Voyageur business information so that it can provide supported responses, assist with inquiries, and escalate unsupported or unverified questions rather than inventing business facts.

DATA WE PROCESS

Depending on the conversation, we may process:
• Page-scoped sender identifiers and related Messenger message identifiers supplied by Meta;
• Message text, attachments, timestamps, delivery or processing status, and conversation context;
• Operational and audit records needed to route messages, prevent duplicate processing, investigate errors, maintain security, and demonstrate service reliability;
• Internal VAI analysis derived from conversations, such as intent classification, supported-answer selection, escalation decisions, service quality, and aggregate operational trends.

We do not use Messenger Platform Data for unrelated advertising profiles. We do not sell Messenger Platform Data.

HOW WE USE DATA

We use the data only as reasonably necessary to:
• respond to customer-initiated Messenger inquiries;
• provide information about Voyageur Resto 2016 services, menu items, reservations, delivery, KTV, study-hub use, and related customer service;
• route unsupported or unverified questions for human review;
• maintain security, prevent misuse, troubleshoot, audit, and improve the accuracy and reliability of Voyageur’s customer-service operations; and
• comply with applicable legal obligations.

SHARING AND CONTROL

Messenger messages are transmitted through Meta’s Messenger Platform and are also subject to Meta’s policies. Within Voyageur, access is limited to authorized personnel and service components that need the information for the purposes described above. We do not disclose Messenger Platform Data except to service providers acting for Voyageur, when required by law, or as necessary to protect customers, Voyageur, Meta, or others.

SECURITY

Voyageur uses reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards designed to protect data, including secured webhook processing, restricted access, operational monitoring, audit records, and an emergency-stop capability. No electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure.

RETENTION

We retain Messenger-related records only for as long as reasonably necessary for customer service, security, troubleshooting, audit, legal, and operational purposes. Retention periods may vary by record type. When information is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymized in accordance with applicable requirements and operational safeguards.

YOUR CHOICES AND DELETION REQUESTS

You may stop messaging the Voyageur Resto 2016 Facebook Page at any time. To request deletion of eligible Voyageur-controlled Messenger data, email voyageur@thevoyageur.org with the subject “Data Deletion Request.” We may request reasonable information to verify that the requester is the person associated with the relevant Messenger interaction. Verified eligible data will be deleted or anonymized, subject to legitimate security, fraud-prevention, audit, legal, dispute-resolution, and record-retention requirements. Data controlled independently by Meta must be managed through Meta’s own tools and policies.
